Katherine Hall, a native of Canada, grew up on stories of the wee folk, Amanda Greenleaf, and other lore. As such, she has been scrawling stories of her own about as long as she has known how to properly hold a pencil. Her family's wanderings took her back and forth between the U.S. and Canada before finally settling in Illinois (for now) where she lives with her husband and very demanding cat named Freya.
Currently a graduate student in journalism at DePaul University, Katherine divides her time between school, work, and her writing. She enjoys writing super-realism, fantasy, and stories with a historical bent to them.
When she is not writing/working/schooling, she likes to read, listen to loud music, travel, and practice speaking Dutch.
